[EN]: Gabriel leads OneWeb’s carrier, government, and enterprise business for the regions of Latin America & the Caribbean. With over 20 years of experience in global telecommunications, Gabriel brings extensive knowledge of satellite, submarine cable, and wholesale telecom industries to the company.
Before joining OneWeb, Gabriel successfully led CSG International in the Latin America and North America regions. As a business head for six years, he made these geographies the best performing of the company’s regional business. To date, Gabriel has worked with most Tier 1 Global Carriers, including MCI, Verizon, Telecom Italia and Telefonica, and top OTT players like Twilio and Modica Group.
Gabriel’s passion for technology and ‘challenging the status-quo’ attitude attracted Gabriel to OneWeb. Here, he is not only responsible for partnering with global telcos, carriers, and enterprises for the distribution of OneWeb’s transformational technology, but is also required to play a pivotal role in developing OneWeb as a preferred regional brand for LEO connectivity. Gabriel’s aim in this position is to ensure OneWeb reaches all the underserved and unserved Latin American markets with this new-age technology.
OneWeb is the global connectivity provider powered from space, headquartered in London, enabling connectivity for governments, businesses, and communities. Owned by Bharti Global, Eutelsat, Hanwha, Softbank and the UK Government, OneWeb is implementing a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites with a network of global gateway stations and a range of user terminals to provide an affordable, fast, high-bandwidth and low-latency communications service, connected to the IoT future and a pathway to 5G everywhere.
After earning a BA in Finance & Computer Science from Manhattanville College, Gabriel went on to complete his Master of Science in Leadership & Strategic Management from Manhattanville College and International MBA from Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami.
