[EN]: Bart Van Utterbeeck is Vice President, Business Development, at ST Engineering iDirect, Latin America region, and General Manager of its Brazilian office.

With over 15 years’ experience in the Latin American satellite market, Van Utterbeeck started the regional Brazil office for Newtec in 2006 as General Manager/VP Sales. Under his tenure, the business, initially focused on the Broadcast sector, grew significantly to become a key player in the Offshore, Mobile Backhaul and Enterprise markets. After the acquisition of Newtec by ST Engineering iDirect in 2019, he continued his role as General Manager of the regional office where he now focuses on Business Development.

Van Utterbeeck holds a degree of Electromechanical Engineering from KIH De Nayer/Thomas More and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from the Catholic University, Leuven.
