Gloria Patricia Perdomo Rangel

Bio

Gloria Patricia Perdomo Rangel, Deputy Minister of Connectivity at the ICT Ministry, is an electronic engineer from Santo Tomás University with more than 25 years of experience in the sector. She has a master's degree in Strategic Management of Information Technology from Externado University and a specialisation in Mobile Telephony from Francisco José de Caldas University.

For 14 years, she has worked at the ICT Ministry in various management and advisory positions, leading the formulation of public policies and the management of strategic projects. Recently, she supported the technical management of the Juntas de Internet programme, an initiative that promotes community connectivity through social tariffs.

As Deputy Minister, she focuses her efforts on expanding Internet access in the most remote areas of the country, strengthening the Ministry's programmes to close the digital divide in Colombia.
